SAE International 2012 Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium Slated for Feb. 21-22 in San Diego

WARRENDALE, PA--Jan. 23, 2012: SAE International will hold its annual Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium on Feb. 21-22 at the Town and Country Resort & Conference Center in San Diego. Infineon Technologies is serving as Premier Partner for the event.

The symposium will provide first-hand knowledge of recent innovations from leaders in the industry through specialized panel discussions and presentations. Attendees can take advantage of networking opportunities with peers as well as leading companies involved in hybrid technology.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Energy storage system innovations
  • Challenges facing the market
  • Challenges facing energy storage systems
  • OEM innovations and technology perspectives

OEMs that will be in attendance and providing technical information include Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan, and Jaguar/Land Rover. The symposium will feature an Energy Storage panel discussion that asks the question, "Are Energy Storage Systems Ready for Prime Time?" In addition, representatives from Motor Trend and J.D.Power & Associates will make presentations.
