TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – Jan 19, 2012: Honda is giving away a number of free tickets to performances at Sydney Festival 2012, including sold-out shows such as Meow Meow’s Little Match Girl and Washington Presents Insomnia, through a competition on Honda Australia’s Facebook page (facebook.com/HondaAustraliaCars).

‘Little Match Girl’ by the sizzling Meow Meow is on tonight in the Honda Festival Garden at Sydney Festival.

Honda joined in the festivities to promote the all-new sporty CR-Z, Wheels Car of the Year 2011, ‘the car for the other you’. The Honda Festival Garden, home to the Famous Spiegeltent, is playing host to an array of performances until the Festival ends on the 29th January. Guests can also been entertained by a palm reader, to explore their ‘other you’.

Some testimonials from the Honda Festival Garden include, "The Honda tent is a really inviting and open space" and "This was a good idea [palm reader], cheers Honda!"

Martin Place has also been occupied by the CR-Z, with an outdoor lounge area providing a relaxed and entertaining arena for city workers and passers-by. The lounge has been warmly received by Sydney workers, who commented; “Great relaxing spot to have lunch at, just what we needed” and “Love this place, I come here every day for lunch now.”

Visitors said they “love[d] the look of the CR-Z” and that “the car feels like sitting in a spaceship.”

Head of Corporate Partnership at Sydney Festival, Sasha, shares her experience in the CR-Z at youtube/HondaAustraliaCars.

Sydney Festival 2012 runs from the 7th to the 29th of January.
