Cyclone Power Technologies Selected to Present its Technology at Department of Energy Technology Summit

POMPANO BEACH, FL--January 18, 2011: Cyclone Power Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: CYPW), developer of the all-fuel, clean-tech Cyclone Engine, announced today that the Company has been selected to present its technology at the 2012 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit and Technology Showcase, to be held February 27-29 outside of Washington D.C.

The committee-reviewed, invitation-only technology showcase is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Advanced Research Projects Agency -- Energy (ARPA-E), a new agency within the DOE designed to invest in breakthrough technologies that, according to its website, "would forever change our world and the ways we use, produce, and store energy." Keynote speakers include Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, FedEX Chairman Fred Smith, and former WalMart CEO Lee Scott.
