SYDNEY – Jan 11, 2012: Jeep Australia will launch an Australian-first marketing initiative, JOLE, on Saturday 14th January 2012 at the Jeep Portsea Polo.

JOLE, literally meaning, “Jeep on a Pole”, will take centre stage at the exclusive and high profile event this weekend with a Jeep Wrangler to be pushed to new heights mounted on a 12-metre tall, freestanding pole.

Chrysler Australia General Manager of Marketing, Sam Tabart said the JOLE display is a ground-breaking and exciting project on the Jeep 2012 calendar.

“We are thrilled to be launching this innovative concept at the Jeep Portsea Polo,” Mr Tabart said.

“The JOLE initiative is the start of an exciting string of unique activations that Jeep will be implementing this year, breathing new life into the brand and supporting our dealers nationally,” he said.

With an installation time of just two hours, JOLE can be tailored to suit each location with varying heights of up to 12 metres.

The revolutionary display requires no ground foundation and can be erected from a space as small as two car parks and at only 45cm in diameter it can hold up to 14,000 kilograms. The mechanics of the pole rotates one revolution per minute offering strong visibility of the mounted vehicle from all angles.

Jeep Australia is the official naming rights sponsor of the 2012 Portsea Polo.
