SYDNEY – Jan 2, 2012: Recognising Hyundai Motor Company Australia's commitment to “Moving the World” together, a pivotal component of the company’s global Corporate Social Responsibility program, the Hyundai Hopman Cup sponsorship continues to be enhanced with the ‘Hyundai Aces’ program, delivering vital support to the ‘Kids Tennis Foundation’.

Using tennis as a communication tool, the ‘Kids Tennis Foundation’ helps develop self-esteem and self-confidence in children who are socially or financially disadvantaged and whom otherwise may not get the chance to be involved in sport.

After outstanding success over the last two years, the Hyundai Aces program will see a donation of $100 for every ace served by players during official tournament matches*.

Leader boards on court will track and display the Hyundai Aces tally throughout the tournament, with a rolling donation fund total visible at all times.

The tournament sees tennis greats including Caroline Wozniacki, Petra Kvitova, Li Na, Tomas Berdych and Mardy Fish representing their respective nations up against Aussie favourites Jarmila Gajdosova and Lleyton Hewitt representing Australia.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia has been a proud sponsor of the Hyundai Hopman Cup tennis tournament since its inception in 1988 and official tournament ‘Title Sponsor’ since 1998.

The Hyundai Hopman Cup XXIV is in action from 31st December 2011 to 7th January 2011 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth.
