Kent, Dec. 26, 2011: High performance transmission solutions provider and regular Autosport International exhibitor, Quaife Engineering, is to launch two exciting new products at the show in January.

The Kent-based company will unveil its new QBE87G heavy duty six speed sequential transmission when the show opens at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. Based on the acclaimed, proven and successful QBE69G unit, the QBE87G fulfills a requirement for an all-wheel drive transmission suitable for high powered motorsport and road cars.

Specified for power outputs of up to 750bhp, the QBE87G features Quaife Engineering’s state of the art gearchange mechanism, which allows for a choice of user defined gear lever locations, or the option to upgrade to a closed loop semi-automatic paddle shift system.

Also making its debut is the Quaife Evo X front ATB differential. Designed to reduce cornering understeer and improve front end traction during acceleration for all versions of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X super saloon, it comes with a lifetime warranty, even for those using it in motorsport.

Installation requires no modifications or machining, as the differential is designed to be a direct replacement for the original Mitsubishi model, and is suited to all Lancer Evo X RS, MR, GS, GSR and GSR SST variants.

“Autosport International is always a key part of our strategy,” explained Sharon Quaife-Hobbs, Director of Quaife Engineering. “There are lots of networking opportunities, so the show is a perfect chance for us to generate new relationships and develop new business. The show has been a major event for us at Quaife for a number of years now; I can’t imagine starting the year any other way.”
