LUTON, UNITED KINGDOM – Dec 22, 2011: With changes to the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) coming in at the start of 2012, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles is extending its offer to owners of older vans to capitalise on a number of special discounts on the Vauxhall range from its London Retail Group until Friday 30th March 2012.

From 3 January 2012, vans (3.5 tonnes GVW and below) registered as new before 1 January 2002 will have to comply with daily LEZ charges. To help owners of older vehicles plan ahead and avoid the daily toll, Vauxhall’s London Retail Group, are offering generous swappage savings to customers buying a new Vauxhall commercial vehicle before the end of March 2012.

Despite the LEZ changes relating to vehicles ten years and older, the London Retail Group will extend the savings to customers of vehicles first registered as recently as seven years ago. The savings on the Vauxhall range include £3,000 off a new Corsavan when you trade-in your old van, while those with bigger space requirements can get £7,500 off the list price of a new Movano.

Savings extend across almost the entire range with Astravan, Combo and Vivaro all included as well as all panel vans and chassis cabs along with the Vivaro 9 Seat Combi.

“Vauxhall’s outstanding commercial vehicle model range offers owner/operator and large fleet operations alike the durability, back-up and low whole-life costs they need,” said Richard Collier, Vauxhall's National Commercial Vehicles Sales Manager. “With this exceptional offer, Vauxhall is once again supporting its customers with a compelling, value for money package together to meet their day-to-day needs in a tough economic environment. Vauxhall was the first manufacturer to offer eco-models across its commercial vehicle range and these too are part of our attractive swappage scheme.”
