GT Exhaust Unveils New Extreme Grade Silencers

LINCOLN, NE--December 21, 2011: GT Exhaust, Inc., a world-class provider of sound and emissions solutions for internal combustion engines, is pleased to announce the release of the new extreme and extreme-plus grade cylindrical silencers for the A200 Series product line.

The A200 Series product line has been released throughout 2011 and is an improvement to the classic 200 series, a product line of standard cylindrical silencers. Previous product releases included the Residential, Industrial, Critical, Critical Plus, and Super Critical grades that reduced cost and footprint while approving attenuation over the classic designs. Now GT Exhaust has added the A200-7100 and A200-8100 for the most demanding applications. The A200-7100 is an upgrade to the previous Extreme Grade silencer, maintaining the 45-52 dB(A) range while reducing the footprint and the cost. The A200-8100 is a new Extreme Plus grade silencer offering an unparalleled attenuation level of 53-60 dB(A). This new solution, in many instances, eliminates the need for dual silencers.

These heavy-duty, high-grade silencers can be customized with connection locations, connection types, and material to meet a wide range of applications. A high-heat powder coat is standard on sizes 10 inches and smaller.
