MINI HAS IT WRAPPED UP THIS CHRISTMAS Make your own Christmas paper with fun new Facebook app

MINI is helping fans to customise Christmas with a new Facebook application that lets users design their own wrapping paper.

The MINI 'Tell-it-like-it-is' Christmas Paper Maker adds a unique personal touch to gifts - and even has the option to include individual messages.

It's reached through the MINI UK Facebook page ( MINI UK on Facebook) and is simple to use. Starting with a blank page, visitors can first choose the background colour for their wrapping paper. Next, they just 'drag-and-drop' from a selection of festive icons to create their own design. These include images of snowmen, mistletoe and Santa - and of course, a festive MINI or three.

Finally, a message to reflect their giving mood can be added. This can be picked from a list of options, including 'It was alive when I wrapped it' and 'Isn't it amazing what you can find in skips these days'. Alternatively, users can choose to write their own personal message - so they can be as kind, funny or sarcastic as they like!

Once the paper is designed, there's the chance to print it out to use for wrapping real presents, or it can be shared with friends via Facebook, and saved onto a computer. The app is now live and free to use for all fans who 'like' the MINI UK Facebook page.
