Hyundai Once Again Captures Top Marks; Land Rover and Scion Join Hyundai as Top Brands in TrueCar.com's Grades for Manufacturers and Brands

Daimler and Jaguar Land Rover Also Receive Top Grades; Volvo Joins Saab, Mitsubishi and Suzuki With the Lowest Grades

SANTA MONICA, CA--Dec. 15, 2011: TrueCar.com the authority in new car pricing, trends and forecasting released its Performance Scorecards for automotive manufacturers and brands. The Performance Scorecards grade each manufacturer and brand on eight different measurements including pricing, sales, incentives, customer loyalty, market share and days in inventory data.

Overall, the top manufacturers on the Scorecards in December were Hyundai, Daimler, and Jaguar. Near the bottom of the list were Volvo, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, and Saab.  The brands that received the highest grades were Hyundai, Land Rover, and Scion and the brands with the lowest grades were Mitsubishi, Ram, and Saab.

The biggest gainers among manufacturers, from November 2011 to December 2011 were:

• Daimler moved from a C- to an A
• Jaguar Land Rover moved from a B+ to an A
• Toyota moved from a B to an A-

The biggest decliners among manufacturers, from November 2011 to December 2011 were:

• Honda moved from an A to a C+
• Subaru moved from an A to a B+
• BMW moved from an A- to a B+
• Volvo moved from a C+ to a C-
