TORRANCE, Dec. 7, 2011: Following the five-race SCORE Series finale on November 20, only 21 (of 494) determined desert racers were able to accomplish the extremely impressive feat of successfully completing every mile of treacherous terrain throughout Nevada, Baja California and Mexico.

"This incredible group of 21 drivers has accomplished what only very few racers have been able to conquer in a lifetime. It's quite an accomplishment to say the least. These extraordinary competitors should be proud of their unique accomplishment," said Les Unger, Toyota's National Motorsports Manager.

This year marks the 26th consecutive year that Toyota will present the coveted Toyota Milestone Award.

The 2011 Toyota Milestone award is presented only to those racers who finished every one of the 1,762.02 required miles in this year's SCORE Desert Series. "SCORE is sincerely grateful to Toyota Motorsports for helping SCORE honor these unique racers in a special way each year," commented Sal Fish SCORE

The number of winners ties the second highest total that was also achieved in 1992. The record of 22 was set in 2007.

All recipients will be honored during the annual SCORE Awards Banquet on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine, Calif. For more information visit the official SCORE website at www.score- international.com
