Valencia, Nov. 21, 2011: Conor Daly will return to the Carlin GP3 team this week in Valencia, Spain, for two days of winter testing, November 23rd – 24th. Carlin’s GP3 team will field two cars as the squad continues to prepare for the 2012 season. Conor Daly, William Buller and Tom Blomqvist will all participate in the two day test, with Buller and Blomqvist making their GP3 debuts.

Daly makes a welcome return to the cockpit having spent the 2011 GP3 season with Carlin, where he gained a reputation as one of the most impressive racers in the Series.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car this week. Our focus will be to further develop the car and continue to learn as much as possible. My aim is to return to GP3 in 2012 and be in a position to make a run at the championship,” said Daly.

Team principal, Trevor Carlin added, “It’s great to have three such experienced drivers in the car this week. Obviously we welcome Conor back with open arms; he was extremely impressive this season, on tracks he had never raced on before. To have him back in the car for testing and aiding our development program further will be extremely helpful.”
