Renault Announces New Finance Director

VICTORIA – Nov 18, 2011: Renault Australia today announces it has appointed a new and highly experienced member to its senior executive team.

Glenn Turner will join Renault Australia from 23 November in the role of Finance Director further strengthening the management team that has steered the brand to a near 90 percent sales increase in 2011 (YTD according to VFACTS).

Glenn has 16 years’ experience working in the automotive industry, although most recently he has been employed as the Financial Controller of Hobsons Asia Pacific.

Prior to this, Glenn was the Financial Controller of BMW Australia Ltd, before resigning to travel around Australia with his young family. Glenn is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business (major in Accountancy) from RMIT.

Prior to joining BMW, Glenn worked for Saab Automobile and KPMG.

“I am delighted to welcome Glenn to the resurgent Renault team,” said Justin Hocevar, Managing Director of Renault Australia.

“Glenn has extensive experience at a senior level in supporting both wholesale and retail business and I am confident he will be an asset to our local head office as well as our dealer network as we continue to expand the Renault brand in Australia,” he said.

Commenting on his new role, Glenn said that he was looking forward to getting back into the automotive industry.

“I am eager to get to grips with a brand which over the last 12 months has begun to gain some real traction, and which has ambitious plans for the future.

“One of my first tasks will be to meet the dealer network and understand their requirements as Renault pushes towards its near term targets in terms of volume and profitability.”
