The Progressive Corporation Announces Investor Relations Conference Call

MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OH--October 31, 2011: As previously announced, The Progressive Corporation will host a one-hour conference call on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, beginning at 9:00 a.m. eastern time. On November 7, 2011, Progressive expects to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission and post its Shareholders' Report, including the Letter to Shareholders from Glenn Renwick, President and CEO, to its website at Progressive Annual Report . On the conference call, management will respond to questions relating to these published reports and the Company's operations.

Simultaneous broadcasts of the conference call will be provided by phone and online. Participants via the webcast will be in a listen-only format and, therefore, will not be able to submit questions.
