INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 28, 2011: Mazda Road to Indy driver Shannon McIntosh is participating in The Chris Griffis Memorial Indy Open Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct 29.

"I'm really looking forward to testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway," said McIntosh. As I look towards 2012, I am excited to be working with Pabst Racing during this test and am hopeful that a year of road racing under my belt will serve as great groundwork for a successful second year in USF2000."

The Ohio-native, 22, will be testing both days in the USF2000 National Championship Series from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and 1:00-2:00 p.m. EDT and media may film on-track activity during both sessions. Shannon will be available for one-on-one interviews from 2:15-2:45 p.m. The same availability times apply for both days of the open test.

Shannon just completed her first full racing season since 2006 when she competed this past season for Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing in the USF2000 National Championship Series.
