Stephane Chesnel Appointed As Director Of Citroen Business International

PARIS – Oct 27, 2011: Stephane Chesnel has been appointed Director of Citroen Business International, the entity responsible for growing the brand’s B2B sales. He reports to Managing Director Frederic Banzet and is a member of the Executive Committee.

Chesnel, 37, holds a diploma in Automobile Network Management (professional chair in partnership with the ESSCA, ESTACA and ENSAM) and is a graduate of l’Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales in Angers.

He began his career in the automotive industry in 1996 with an equipment manufacturer before going on to hold a number of positions with carmakers. After working for General Motors, he joined Volkswagen to manage the development of the Skoda network and then assumed responsibility for the key accounts markets for the Group’s five brands. He became head of the fleet strategy and remarketing department in 2010.

With 15 years’ experience in the automotive industry, Stéphane Chesnel joins Citroën as Director of Citroën Business International. This entity is the preferred contact for international key accounts. It is also tasked with supporting the Citroën Business teams at the subsidiaries and developing the Business Centre network. Reporting to Frédéric Banzet, he is a member of Citroën’s Executive Committee.
