FYI: Lincoln Buyer's Guide

OAKLAND, CA--Oct. 26, 2011: Pandora , the leading personalized radio service, is now a standard feature on three popular luxury Lincoln models: the MKZ, MKZ Hybrid and the Navigator. The vehicles arrived on dealer lots in September 2011.

Lincoln makes Pandora available via the SYNC system, using the AppLink feature, which is compatible with Android, BlackBerry and iPhone smartphones. Signature functions of SYNC AppLink include voice control over the Pandora smartphone app allowing drivers to change stations or give a song a thumbs-up or thumbs-down with simple voice commands. In addition, drivers can control Pandora through dashboard and steering wheel-mounted controls.

Pandora executive vice president of business and corporate development Jessica Steel said, "Our listeners want Pandora everywhere they are, and the car is at the top of that list. We're delighted that Lincoln luxury drivers now have easy access to their personalized radio stations behind the wheel."

ABOUT PANDORA

Pandora gives people music they love anytime, anywhere, through connected devices. (OK, we've added comedy as well so we're also up for playing some jokes you'll love.) Personalized stations launch instantly with the input of a single "seed" - a favorite artist, song or genre. The Music Genome Project®, a deeply detailed hand-built musical taxonomy, powers the personalization of Pandora® internet radio by using musicological "DNA" and constant listener feedback to craft personalized stations from a growing collection of hundreds of thousands of recordings. Tens of millions of people in the U.S. turn on Pandora to hear music they love.
