Dacia Produces 1.5 Millionth Car on X90 Platform

MIOVENI, ROMANIA – October 21, 2011: Romanian carmaker Automobile Dacia S.A. celebrates a milestone with the 1.5 millionth car on X90 platform produced at its plant in Mioveni. The jubilee car is a Logan sedan with a 1.2 75hp petrol engine, which will be delivered to a customer in Romania.

During the almost eight years that have passed since manufacturing of the first Logan started in Mioveni, the X90 platform based product range has been extended to five models (Logan, Logan MCV, Logan Van, Logan Pick-Up and Sandero with its Stepway version).

The Dacia factory produces 1389 vehicles per day, with over 90% of its production destined to be exported.
