NADA University and Montreal Automobile Dealers Corporation Expand Groundbreaking International Training Partnership

McLean, VA and Montreal, Quebec - (October 4, 2011) NADA University and the Montreal Automobile Dealers Corporation (CCAM) have expanded an unprecedented training partnership that offers NADA University courses taught in French to CCAM member dealerships (or stores). After a highly successful pilot course on parts operations, launched late last year, three new courses for Quebec dealers have been scheduled, including: · Service Operations (September 2011); · Variable Operations (late 2011); · Financial Statement Analysis (early 2012)

"My vision was to offer CCAM members access to the world's best courses, in their language (French)," said CCAM Senior Advisor Diane Belair. "I knew that NADA had never done this before, but after three years of development of the concept, the dream did come true. Today, the CCAM -NADA relationship is outstanding and CCAM members are learning the best from the best, in French, in Quebec."

"Dealership staff members are amazed not only by all that they learn, but also by all they have not been doing as well as they could," Belair added. "They leave these courses equipped to perform better than ever before and that is the reason for the resounding success of this program."

This innovative training agreement may serve as a model for future partnerships between NADA U and international dealership groups.

"Our training programs have earned a reputation by dealers around the world as the best training available for growing their businesses," said NADA University Business Development Director Bob Kostkan. "We're proud to expand its access to dealers beyond our borders and in their language."

The customized courses, designed for Quebec's dealership (or store) owners, upper-level management and other dealership employees in line for leadership roles, mark the first time that the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and its NADA U training arm have licensed content to be taught in another country or language.

The program draws on NADA U core content, expertise and delivery resources, meeting the top standards of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

The Canadian instructors conducting the courses in Quebec have been trained by NADA University's ASTD-certified instructors, who are exceptionally knowledgeable about each subject. The program includes guidance on all aspects of the training process, including how to generate individual and group participation, deliver engaging presentations and evaluate students.
