Jaguar Welcomes New Additions To The UK Press Office Team

GAYDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Sept 27, 2011: The Jaguar Press Office is set to expand with the appointment of Alexina Jackson in the role of Press Officer, Jaguar Cars, and Claire Boakes as Press Officer for the Jaguar Academy of Sport.

Originally from the Scottish Borders, Alexina joined Jaguar Land Rover last year and is part of the Graduate Scheme. She impressed greatly in roles working within the Jaguar and Land Rover teams and joins Senior Press Officer, Faye Goldstraw and Angus Fitton, PR Manager, in the Jaguar UK Press Office.

Alexina is an enthusiast, having learnt to drive at just 15 and rivalling Michelle Mouton as she guided the family car around the Scottish countryside at high speed. Her first crash took place at just 16. Somewhat surprisingly (and to the relief of the sheep population) she turned her back on amateur rallying to pursue a career in PR.

Dedicated to answering any product enquiries as well as attending UK and international events, Alexina will be working alongside Faye and Angus.

Claire Boakes joins Jaguar having gained extensive experience in F1, working with RBS and Johnnie Walker on their activation in the sport. Originally from Sevenoaks in Kent, Claire is looking forward to raising the profile of the Jaguar Academy of Sport – dedicated to encouraging and supporting aspiring young athletes to become the next generation of British sporting Champions.

Another new name – but not a new addition – is Lindsey Dipple, formerly Campton, having got married recently. The new 'Dipple' boasts the same emissions as the outgoing model.
