AAA to Launch Phase II of Electric Vehicle Initiative with Installation of Charging Station at National Office

WHAT: AAA will unveil the second phase of their industry-leading electric vehicle (EV) initiative with the installation of a charging station at the AAA National office. The station is a Level II, 240 volt unit that will allow electric vehicle owners to "top off" their vehicle's charge and can accommodate two cars simultaneously.  Access to the charging station is free and available 24 hours a day to AAA members and the general public.

In July, AAA launched the first phase of their EV initiative with the unveiling of a prototype mobile EV charging truck with the capability to provide roadside rescue charging.
