KUKA Robotics Corporation Showcases Innovative Packaging and Palletizing Solutions at PackExpo 2011

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI & LAS VEGAS--September 23, 2011: KUKA Robotics will exhibit among 1,600 world-class industry suppliers at PackExpo Las Vegas in booth C-4631. Pack Expo is North America's largest packaging and processing show with Pack Expo Las Vegas 2011 projected to be the largest Pack Expo show in Las Vegas to date.

KUKA Robotics will host an in-booth Interactive Solutions Experience, where attendees can view numerous innovative efficient robotic solutions for the Packaging and Processing Industry in one place. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about KUKA Robotics Corporation, industries served and application solutions specifically tailored for Pack Expo attendees' manufacturing challenges.

A robotic solution showcasing an innovative robotic Stretch Wrap Removal and UnBagger System will be provided by Official KUKA Robotics System Partner FleetwoodGoldcoWyard (a Barry Wehmiller Company). This system is a state-of-the-art robotic stretch unwrapper and unbagger; a unique solution that utilizes a KUKA KR 30 L16 robot to automatically remove stretch wrap and bags from bulk unit loads.

Demonstrating KUKA's response to customer demand for a unified controlled palletizing solution, KUKA will display a KR 40 PA robot. This solution is provided by select Official KUKA Robotics System Partners. KUKA Robotics is an Encompass Partner. The unified controller solution will also be present at Official KUKA Robotics System Partner, Intelligrated booth (booth # C-3611).

Also on display the powerfully quick KR 180 PA palletizing robot along with the KR 700 PA, the fastest palletizer in its payload class, with its 700kg payload will be exhibited.

Monday September 26th from 2-5:30pm, KUKA Robotics will be hosting Robots, Wine and Cheese, an in-booth reception to allow for customers one on one time to interact with KUKA packaging experts.
