Audi's Limited Editions Offer Unlimited Appeal

ZETLAND, AUSTRALIA – Sept 22, 2011: Following the launch of the scorching TT RS S tronic Limited Edition at the 2011 AIMS in Melbourne, Audi Australia has announced two additional Limited Edition model lines exclusively for the Australian market: the RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition and the R8 Carbon Edition.

Audi TT RS S tronic Limited Edition
Just 45 Limited Edition TT RS models will be sold in Australia, making it a highly exclusive and highly desirable proposition. The Limited Edition model is available in Ibis White, Phantom Black and Suzuka Grey and boasts the following features:

Black exterior styling package

Metallic paint

19-inch 5-arm Rotor design wheels in titanium finish

Sports exhaust system for an even more spine-tingling soundtrack

Adaptive headlights

BOSE sound system

Extended leather package

LED interior lighting package

These fantastic features represent $8,460 in additional value at no extra cost.

This flagship TT model is offered exclusively with Audi’s state-of-the-art 7 speed S tronic transmission – allowing lightning-fast gear changes and excellent efficiency.

The S tronic transmission also allows the driver to make the most of the storming 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI engine – the winner of the ‘International Engine of the Year Award’ for its class in 2010 and 2011.

The 250kW and 450Nm powerplant drives through Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system and when equipped with the S tronic transmission scorches from 0-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds thanks to a new launch control function.

Audi RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition
The classic elegance and awesome power of the Audi RS 5 Coupe now has an added dimension of desirability with this Limited Edition model. Packing a 331kW and 430Nm 4.2 FSI V8 engine, matched to Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system and 7-speed S tronic transmission, the RS 5 is one of the most formidable driving machines on the road. Just 25 of the exclusive RS 5 Limited Edition models will be sold in Australia, available in Ibis White, Phantom Black and Suzuka Grey. The RS 5 Limited Edition offers the following features:

Audi’s Sport Suspension Plus has also been introduced to the RS 5, and is optional on both Limited Edition and standard models as of now. The new optional sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) uses variable shock absorbers to reduce all pitch and yaw movements purely mechanically and without any lag, thus lifting handling dynamics to an even higher level. DRC includes new single-tube gas-filled shock absorbers and coil springs.

The control range of the Dynamic Ride Control can be set to three different modes: comfort, auto, dynamic.

For uncompromising driving fans, RS bucket seats are available on the RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition.

Audi R8 Carbon Edition
The R8 is the pinnacle of Audi’s performance expertise. The stunning sports car rewrote the supercar rulebook when it was launched in 2006 and is now available in Australia with an exclusive carbon styling package. A rare offering, just 10 Carbon Edition models in total will be available in Australia.

Available on both V8 and V10 models, and Coupe and Spyder body styles, the Carbon Edition is available in Ibis White, Phantom Black, Suzuka Grey and Daytona Grey and includes:

19-inch wheels in 5-twin spoke design with titanium finish

Carbon exterior package, including front spoiler and rear diffuser in carbon

Carbon sideblade

Carbon exterior mirror housings

Carbon door sills, illuminated

The Carbon Edition represents $38,100 of additional value at just $10,900 above the purchase price of the chosen R8 model.
