Trunk or Treat Promises Spook-tacular Fun at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum

AUBURN HILLS, MI--Sept. 19, 2011: A spooky good time awaits the entire family when the second annual Trunk or Treat weaves its web of fun at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, in Auburn Hills, Mich., Sunday, Oct. 23 from 2 -- 4 p.m.

Goblins dressed in their Halloween finery can trick or treat throughout the Museum's three floors for candy and trinkets from rumble seats, trunks and truck beds. A special scavenger hunt will guide guests to the treasures with prizes awarded to lucky ghouls whose completed scavenger hunts are drawn from those of all Trunk or Treaters.

Families can also go batty with:

• "Haunted bowling," courtesy of Classic Lanes of Rochester Hills, Mich.;
• Halloween crafts;
• Souvenir photos in the "Graveyard Special Prowler," tricked out in Halloween splendor; and
• Refreshments and a Halloween coloring station.

Special Trunk or Treat admission -- in advance and at the door -- is $4 per person for ages two and up and includes all activities and treats. Admission is free for children under two and $3 for members.

The local community can also join in the festivities through Trunk or Treat sponsorships. Businesses and organizations can connect with local families by sponsoring a treat, craft or refreshment station for $125 - $150 per station. All sponsors will receive recognition via signage at each station and are invited to participate in the event and distribute coupons and/or other child-friendly goodies highlighting their business or organization.
