Nissan 200 SX

It looks like Nissan revived its plans for a new small sports car. Technically it can be the successor of the 200 SX. But we expect the new model to get an electric motor. At first we heard that it would be based on the platform of the 370 Z, but we heard that it will get the electric drive of the Leaf. Probably due for introduction in 2013..

Electric Opel

Not much is known about GM’s plans to introduce an electric Opel model. Even so, it will be arriving on European and English markets as Opel and Vauxhall respectively..

This includes a Stop&Start system of the latest generation, which will be available for other models in a later stage.

No doubt also the Porsche 911 Carrera will draw crowds. The new generation has a longer wheel base, a lower height and sits on 2-inch wheels. It gets the new 350 hp strong 3.4-liter Boxer that can optionally be teamed to PDK (Porsche DoppelKupplingsgetriebe). The combination has better fuel efficiency (8,2 l/100 km in the EU cycle) and a CO2-emission of 194 g/km. The Carrera S gets the 3.8-liter boxer with 300 hp. With PDK it ‘sips’ 8,7 l/100km and has a CO2-emission of 205 g/km.

Important is also the introduction of Volvo On Call, that allows the driver to communicate with its car from a distance, for instance to preheat it from a mobile phone.
