NEW YORK--Sept. 7, 2011: Lincoln Center is a buzz with the start of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as it gets underway from September 8-15, 2011 with a line-up of 99 designers showing their Spring 2012 Collections. Among the most anticipated designers displaying their latest looks on the runways, Mercedes-Benz is also showcasing its 2012 SLS AMG Roadster and C63 AMG Coupe, two all new models available later this year.

The SLS AMG Roadster is a super car convertible and sibling to the SLS AMG Coupe known for its iconic Gullwing doors.  The 563 horsepower droptop is being shown in the Lobby of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Imola Grey with a natural brown woven leather interior.

"The SLS AMG Roadster is stunning and could be described as red carpet ready," said Lisa Holladay, Manager of Brand Experience Marketing for Mercedes-Benz USA. "The design of this vehicle and color combination truly expresses our title sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week."

Opposite the SLS AMG Roadster is an installation of the all new 2012 C63 AMG Coupe. The two-door C-Class is a cutting-edge design previously not available in the Mercedes-Benz portfolio.  The vehicle boasts 451 horsepower and its sleek look is part of a Mercedes-Benz campaign during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week campaign called Let Me C Your Style at www.LetMeCYourStyle.com.

Let Me C Your Style incorporates this season's Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer Derek Lam and www.LetMeCYourStyle.com web site.  The initiative kicks-off during Fashion's Night Out (September 8, 2011) with a casting call for the most stylish girl on Crosby Street -- an individual that embodies casual, effortless personal style, charismatic personality and confidence. Beyond the location of the Derek Lam store, The Crosby street theme is reference to the new 10 Crosby line from Derek Lam.

Designer Derek Lam and his casting director James Scully are leading the casting call. One stylish girl, selected by the duo, will win the ultimate package: two Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week invitations to attend the Derek Lam show, opportunity to meet Derek Lam, VIP access to the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge, a 10 Crosby Derek Lam outfit, complimentary hair and makeup and a film crew to capture newfound celebrity status.  Throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, attendees visiting the C63 AMG Coupe instillation in the lobby can vote on their favorite Crosby Girl by answering "What Style Drives You?" Winners will be incorporated into an online lookbook at Let Me C Your Style .

In addition to the collaboration with Derek Lam, Jessica Stam, Canadian Supermodel, is making an appearance at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on September 9, 2011 to show-off a key visual photographed by Terry Richardson highlighting the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class Concept vehicle.
