FORT MILL, SC--Sept. 1, 2011: Continental Tire is helping consumers stay on track by bringing back its wildly popular GPS promotion. Running Sept. 1 through Oct. 15, consumers who purchase four Continental-brand tires valued at $499 or more will receive a free MagellanĀ® Roadmate® 2035 GPS system (purchase price excludes tax, fees and road hazard insurance policies).

"Our GPS promotions have been far and away the most popular and successful promotions we've had," said Travis Roffler, director of marketing, Continental Tire. "Our customers wanted us to bring it back, and we listened -- just in time to send their kids off to college with a new set of tires and a GPS to keep them safe on the road."

The Magellan® Roadmate®'s 4.3" screen offers clear, easy-to-view maps, audio navigation and lifetime traffic alerts.

The new promotion is supported with point-of-sale displays at Continental Tire dealerships nationwide; with a Web banner ad campaign; and with ads in a variety of leading automotive enthusiast publications.
