SAGE KARAM, #88 TEAM MAZDASPEED/ COMFORT REVOLUTION CAR

Finished practice in P7

"Practices at Infineon today weren't as good as we had expected. It was a little bit different result than our test here a week ago. We definitely have some work to do overnight to get ready for qualifying in the morning. Having Zach here is a good addition; we can overlay data and work together. We're not totally pleased with our performance today, but I know the MAZDASPEED/Comfort Revolution team can put together a pretty good race car for tomorrow. Hopefully we can get the car back up toward the front."

ZACH VEACH, #77 TEAM ZAKOSI DATA BACKUP CAR

Ended the session in P8

"Practice today went a little bit better than in testing last week. We were 18th during testing and up to 5th and 8th during practice today, so it's an improvement. We still have a lot to learn for tomorrow, but I think I still have a lot of time left in me and a little bit left in the car. I'm happy to be back with Sage again. We've always worked well together and together I think we can get to the front. The key for the #77 Team Zakosi Data Backup car is to have a good qualifying session and try to keep the tires alive during the race."
