INDIANAPOLIS--August 24, 2011: Broadband Antenna Tracking Systems, Inc. (BATS) announces the next generation Automatic Mobile Antenna Tracking System (AMATS).

“Our customers appreciate that AMATS can be quickly deployed with a minimum level of technical skills”

The ability to bring reliable critical real-time data, voice and video to and from an emergency location is critical. AMATS is preconfigured to quickly locate, lock and track communication access points on power up and requires minimal technical skillsets from its users. The system's ultrafast timesaving features allow emergency workers to focus on protecting lives and community infrastructure not communications.

During emergency situations, such as the recent earthquakes, normal communications can break down when power lines fall, roads close, and flooding occurs. Unlike other communication methods, BATS' AMATS remains uniquely unfailing in severe conditions like these. Its environmentally sealed design protects it from temperature changes and damage from water, salt, sand and other environmental hazards.

"There are many benefits to BATS' Automatic Mobile Antenna Tracking System," said Phil Cramer, BATS V.P. Sales. "Our new domed systems are the ideal solution for virtually all conditions. The domes provide marine-grade reliability and a very low wind profile, allowing our systems to work flawlessly in the kinds of rugged environments that emergency workers are likely to face."

"Our customers appreciate that AMATS can be quickly deployed with a minimum level of technical skills," Cramer continued.

The AMAT's system can deliver uninterrupted high-bandwidth wireless network with moving vehicles over great distances, BATS's has successfully established broadband communications up to 200 nautical miles and up to Gigabit Bandwidths.

BATS' is a wireless telecommunications technology company that specializes in rapidly enabling uninterrupted wireless networking between stationary and moving vehicles during extreme and emergency situations.
