BLOOMINGTON, IL--Aug. 17, 2011: In the highly competitive mobile technologies world, the State FarmŪ mobile site is ranked best against top competitors in insurance and financial services.

In a recent competitive review the State Farm mobile experience was rated best by Key Lime Interactive (KLI), an independent company specializing in user testing and experience.

The study compared State Farm mobile website and main application, Pocket AgentŪ, against similar offerings from the competition. On the strength of the comprehensive mobile site, State Farm ranked first. The mobile site missed a perfect capabilities score in the KLI study by just two points.

In particular, Pocket Agent's After an Accident and My Insurance Card were singled out as best-in-class features. KLI noted the ability to draw the scene of an accident, as well as the ability to submit a claim directly from their mobile device as ahead of the competitors. The My Insurance Card feature scored high as the only one with the ability to show the actual amount of coverage in the customer's policy.

"State Farm is the leader in mobile financial services capabilities and we're working hard to maintain that position," said Patty Gaumond, assistant vice-president of Enterprise Internet Solutions at State Farm. "This ranking acknowledges our focused effort to design the best user experience for our customers."

Even with the top ranking, State Farm is moving forward with improvements to Pocket Agent. "We're always listening to our customer feedback," said Gaumond, "and are evaluating new technologies that will make it even easier to use."

State Farm's mobile applications, in addition to Pocket Agent and Steer ClearŪ Mobile on both the iPhone and Android platforms, include MoveTools (iPad) and Driver Feedback (iPhone). .
