MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – Aug 12, 2011: BMW Australia has announced a 10% reduction on the price of high-demand Genuine BMW Parts, with a focus on parts in most demand for minor accident repairs.

Effective from 1 August 2011, the price reduction is available on the range of BMW bonnets, fenders, front and rear bumpers and headlamps.

General Manager for BMW Aftersales, Mr John Fairman said the price adjustment will make it more affordable to use new Genuine BMW Parts in the repair of BMW vehicles.

“Customers should insist that their repairer use Genuine BMW Parts to maintain the integrity and safety of their vehicle,” said Mr Fairman.

Mr Fairman said that BMW Australia does not support use of parallel, alternative or aftermarket parts, and strongly recommends insurers and collision repairers to use only Genuine BMW Parts.

“Using non-genuine, or parallel imported parts can compromise a vehicle’s warranty and simply isn’t worth the risk,” said Mr Fairman.

Designed to exacting standards, Genuine BMW Parts offer superior quality, a perfect fit every time, and the security of a two year factory warranty.
