Starter and Alternator Maker, Remy is a Five-Time Recipient of Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks North America

PENDLETON, IN--Aug. 1, 2011: Remy Inc., manufacturer of Delco Remy heavy duty starters and alternators, received the 2010 Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA). It is the fifth occasion and third consecutive year where Remy has received this honor. The Masters of Quality is the highest level of recognition that DTNA presents to its leading suppliers.

"Considering our challenging guidelines for the supplier quality award, receiving it for the third year running is quite an achievement. I congratulate the Remy team for this," stated Paul Romanaggi, General Manager, Quality and Supplier Management at Daimler Trucks North America.

For over two decades, DTNA has acknowledged their North American manufacturers who meet or exceed the company's solid quality standards and exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement to the quality of products and processes.
