FIA GP3 - American Conor Daly P12 In Second Race At Hungary

Hungaroring, July 31, 2011: American Conor Daly posted another encourging finish for the Carlin organization today with a P12 result in Budapest. He continues to lead the Carlin contingent with 3 Championship points and a 20th place standing.

The wet race was impacted by two safety car periods. The first was caused when Jenzer Motorsport’s Vittorio Ghirelli fell off the road on lap on lap 2, and the second was triggered when Tech 1's Thomas Hylkema lost control at lap 12.

Marussia Manor Racing's Rio Haryanto won the event, followed by current Championship leader Valtteri Bottas (Lotus - ART), with teammate James Calado closing out the podium in a P3 finish.

Next up; Spa Francorchamps on the 26th of August.
