Experience Continental Automotive's Collision Mitigation Technology at the Management Briefing Seminars

continental

What:

Continental, a leading supplier of safety systems to the global automotive industry, invites you to experience the power of its collision mitigation technology during the Management Briefing Seminars.

Continental will offer driving demonstrations in a production vehicle equipped with its short range lidar sensor highlighted in last week's Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Study touting collision avoidance systems. The sensor assists drivers to avoid or minimize the effect of rear-end collisions at city driving speeds.

The short range lidar sensor is the same technology touted by IIHS for reducing insurance claims by 27 percent and personal injury claims by 50 percent. Additionally, Continental is actively marketing more comprehensive systems that produce similar results at higher speeds.

For more information on the IIHS Study please visit, http://www.iihs.org/news/rss/pr071911.html

We look forward to seeing you in Traverse City to demonstrate this safety technology.
