WEYBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – July 27, 2011: Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., has welcomed Millie Allen to the Press Office team under its Student Placement Scheme.

The 20 year old student has been studying Public Relations at Leeds Metropolitan University for the past two years.

Millie said: ‘I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work within the Press Office. There seems to be a great deal of activity and launches coming up in the future that I can not wait to get involved in.

“I feel lucky to be awarded such an exciting opportunity as the majority of my peers were unsuccessful in securing a placement. Because of this I will work as hard as I can to become a good representative for Kia,’ she said.

Millie replaces Georgina Keith, also a student intern at the company who has worked in the Kia Press Office since last July.

Stephen Kitson, Communications Director at Kia said: ‘We are sad to see Georgina go back to Bournemouth as she has made a real impression in our team, however we are confident Millie can do a great job and look forward to see what attributes she can bring to the team.’
