BRENTWOOD, UNITED KINGDOM – July 27, 2011: Ford customers will have another chance to boost their Nectar points balance in August thanks to the latest double-points offer which returns for MOTs, servicing and non-warranty repairs at participating Ford dealers during the month of August.

Customers will be able to collect four points for every £1 spent on servicing, non-warranty repairs and MOTs between 1st and 31st August. All cars serviced during the "double points month" will also receive up to 12 months' roadside assistance in the UK and Europe, including Homestart*.

Ford’s first Nectar double points month, in February this year, saw more than 42 million points issued to customers – enough for almost 5,000 family tickets to top tourist attractions.

Ford, the UK’s best-selling vehicle brand, is the official automotive partner of Nectar, Britain’s most popular loyalty scheme. Last year, Ford gave away over 180 million Nectar points to customers, which were exchanged for a wide variety of goods and services, from groceries to holidays.

Andy Barratt, Ford's UK customer service director, said: “Summer vacations are a popular time for driving, so now is the perfect time for our customers to earn extra points while they get a holiday check-up for their car."
