TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – July 26, 2011: Honda’s dream to create an exciting sports sedan that’s thrilling to drive came to fruition in 2003 when the first generation Accord Euro debuted. Building on these strengths, the second generation Euro launched in 2008 delivered even higher levels of driver enjoyment and standard features.

The 2012 Accord Euro was recently released with enhanced exterior features, improved fuel efficiency and stylish interior upgrades. All models across the range receive steering wheel integrated Bluetooth, USB connectivity and trailer stability assist.

Powered by a lively 148 kW four cylinder engine with a slick six speed manual or silky smooth five speed auto with grade logic control, the Accord Euro is a sporty, fuel efficient car, sipping 8.7 litres/100 kms (combined) for the manual transmission (an improvement of 2.2 percent on the previous model) and 8.5 litres/100kms (combined) for the automatic transmission (an improvement of 4.5 percent).

Honda Australia Senior Director Mr Lindsay Smalley is impressed with the Euro. “Once you put yourself behind the wheel of the Accord Euro you can feel the excitement and exceptional handling. The Accord Euro is first and foremost a true drivers’ car – one we at Honda are very proud of.”

Honda was established in Australia over forty years ago and there are more than 400,000 cars currently on the road.
