Finished running in sixth place; final results show a 13th place finish due to a penalty

"It was a disappointing day. We started on pole so we were optimistic we'd have a good race in the #88 MAZDASPEED/Comfort Revolution car. Unfortunately, the no-lift shift broke after the start of the race and I really had to drive harder. We lost a lot of grip as the race went on, so it was just not our day. We'll use this as a learning experience for when we're back in Canada in a couple of weeks."
