AUTO CENTRAL – July 21, 2011: In line with its strategy to facilitate the reduction of air pollution by road traffic, Bosal Emission Control Systems N.V. has launched a new range of replacement Diesel particulate filters for passenger cars. The products are new replacements parts for OEM filters which were installed when the car was newly manufactured.

The Bosal replacement Diesel particulate filter is a high quality product. Silicon Carbide (SiC) substrate material of the latest generation is applied. Because of its superior material properties, Sic substrate material is assuring outstanding durability, excellent filtration efficiency, minimal backpressure and high fuel economy. SiC material is used in OEM products as well. State of the art technology is used.

The Bosal replacement DPF is reducing the diesel particulate mass emissions by more than 95% down to levels which are meeting the stringent Euro 5 emission standards, even on cars which were Euro 3 or Euro 4 type approved. It is developed as a direct fit application whereby the DPF monitoring sensors (backpressure) can be easily plugged in during installation. Easy and quick fitting is guaranteed.

In a first step the Bosal replacement DPF range will focus on the PSA car models, so Peugeot and Renault, as these car models have already been foreseen with Diesel particle filters as from the year 2000. So the biggest replacement market is situated within these car models.

In the coming months Bosal Emission Control Systems N.V. will continue to develop new replacement DPF, so that gradually replacements DPF are offered to the Bosal customer base for all car makes.

The Bosal replacement DPF will be offered for economical prices which allow the end consumer to replace the old DPF by a Bosal new one.
