Nationwide Series - Travis Pastrana To Compete In New England 125 At NHMS

LOUDON, July 14, 2011: XGames legend, American Rally driver and now NASCAR racer Travis Pastrana will race in the 55th annual NASCAR K&N Pro Series East New England 125 race on Friday.

Known for wowing crowds in motocross, Pastrana will pilot the No. 99 Boost Mobile Toyota for Pastrana-Waltrip Racing this weekend. He made his NASCAR debut in the 2011 NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown, where he finished sixth. Pastrana also competed at Richmond International Raceway in the K&N Pro Series East where he finished 33rd. He finished 22nd in the East-West combo race at Iowa Speedway and finished 25th at the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at Phoenix International Raceway.

Taking his first laps around "The Magic Mile," Pastrana was seventh fastest in practice today. Matt DiBenedetto was first followed by Max Gresham, Daniel Suarez, Darrell Wallace Jr., Sergio Pena, Alex Bowman, Ben Kennedy, Ryan Gifford and Dylan Presnell rounding out the top-10.
