INDIANAPOLIS, June 30, 2011: More than 50 Yamaha dealers are selling tickets for the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on Aug. 26-28 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway through an exciting program presented by participating Midwestern Yamaha Dealers and IMS.

Participating Yamaha dealers are offering three-day general admission tickets, Friday-Saturday combination general admission tickets and selected reserved seats for Race Day, Sunday, Aug. 28.

A limited number of vouchers providing motorcyclists a chance to ride their machines on the 16-turn, 2.621-mile IMS road course during the Red Bull Indianapolis GP will be offered to fans who buy event tickets at a Yamaha dealer.

For a full list of participating dealers, visit http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/redbullindianapolisgp/eventinfo/43738/.

The Yamaha ticket sales program emerges just days after Yamaha Factory Racing rider Ben Spies was victorious in TT Assen on Saturday, June 25, becoming the first American rider to win a MotoGP race since 2006.

Spies will join Yamaha Factory Racing teammate and 2010 World Champion Jorge Lorenzo and Monster Yamaha Tech 3 teammates Colin Edwards and Cal Crutchlow in the fourth annual Red Bull Indianapolis GP.

Fans also can purchase tickets by visiting www.imstix.com, calling the IMS ticket office at (317) 492-6700, or (800) 822-INDY outside the Indianapolis area, or visiting the ticket office at the IMS Administration Building at the corner of Georgetown Road and 16th Street. Ticket office and phone hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday-Friday.

Race Day general admission tickets cost $40, with Friday general admission $10 and Saturday general admission $20. A three-day general admission ticket is $60. A Friday-Saturday general admission ticket is $25.

Children ages 12 and under will be admitted free any of the three days of the event when accompanied by an adult with a general admission ticket.

Race Day reserved seat prices will start at $70.
