Simona de Silvestro suffered a concussion during last Saturday's qualifying session at The Milwaukee Mile. On Wednesday of this week, she met with the medical staff and was cleared to race in this weekend's Iowa Corn Indy 250.

"This season has been a challenge, but I'm not giving up. Milwaukee was a tough weekend, but my Nuclear Clean Air Energy team did such a great job getting the car ready for the race, as well as being there for me.

We're not even half-way through the season yet, so I think there's time to get back up into the points race. Every oval is a learning experience for me and that's how I'm approaching Iowa Speedway. After that, I'm looking forward to getting back onto the road courses."
