Wireless Matrix Will Help Track Vehicles for Oil Field Services

HERNDON, VA - June 22, 2011: Wireless Matrix (TSX: WRX), a leading provider of GPS fleet tracking services, announced today that it has signed a 36-month agreement to provide its award-winning FleetOutlook® fleet tracking solution to an oil field services company located in the south central United States. The deployment will begin immediately and will be a phased approach over several months.

“FleetOutlook provides customers such as this one with a rich platform to monitor field deployments and optimize these complex operations. This could represent another burgeoning vertical market for Wireless Matrix.”

The customer is a leader in providing support services to oil field operators, including pumping, well stimulation and well cementing. FleetOutlook will provide the customer with greater tracking and insight into vehicle locations, the ability to manage by exception through alerting features, geofencing of well sites, and reporting metrics to assist with oil field exemption reporting.

Under this agreement, Wireless Matrix adds 500 application and communications subscribers to its subscriber base, with the potential for future growth on a national basis.
