READING, UNITED KINGDOM – June 20, 2011: As the Porsche business goes from strength to strength in the UK, work began this week to develop a new location for Porsche Centre Solihull. The site takes shape over the next few months at Highlands Road in Solihull and, when it opens in early 2012, it will be one of the UK’s largest Porsche Centres.

The decision to relocate Porsche Centre Solihull signifies a major long term investment in the Porsche business and in the local region. The new facility will occupy nearly three acres of ground and will also require recruitment of new Porsche employees to staff the new state-of-art facility.

The new Centre will feature a 36 car showroom for new and Porsche Approved used cars, spread over two floors. In addition, the showroom includes a customer specification lounge where one of Porsche Centre Solihull’s Personalisation Consultants can demonstrate many of the different options and bespoke choices available on all new Porsches and a 12 bay workshop equipped with a dedicated MOT bay, on the spot diagnosis and cosmetic repair service.

Until the new Centre opens, Porsche Centre Solihull remains operational at its existing location – Four Ashes Road, Dorridge, Solihull, West Midlands B93 8NE.
