Motorsports Supply Chain - Racer Parts Wholesale Acquires Racer Wholesale

INDIANAPOLIS, June 15, 2011: Indianapolis-based Racer Parts Wholesale (RPW), one of the nation's leading motorsports parts and accessories suppliers, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Postell Associates Inc. to acquire Atlanta-based Racer Wholesale (RW), one of the country's best-known sources for racing safety gear.

RW, which was instrumental in building national recognition for G-FORCE Racing Gear, has supplied thousands of racers with helmets, driving uniforms, gloves, shoes, fire-retardant underwear, safety belts and other safety products for over 20 years. By combining RW’s extensive safety product lineup with the marketing and customer service power of RPW, a one-stop shop for all things motorsports will be reestablished for the racing market.

RPW, which real racers™ depend on for fast service and quality products, is in the process of moving RW’s inventory and records from Atlanta to its downtown Indianapolis headquarters at 411 Dorman Street.

“Bringing in Racer Wholesale and G-FORCE product inventory is a project we are looking forward to here at Racer Parts Wholesale,” said Jack Borsos, RPW’s general manager. “Our customers will now be able to get their safety gear as well as their racing parts and accessories all from our centrally-based Indianapolis warehouse.”

Racer Parts Wholesale will not change its name to reflect the additional product lines it will now carry, but the Racer Wholesale logo and name will be added to RPW’s Web site at racerpartswholesale.com. In addition to racing parts, accessories and now safety gear, RPW also carries a full line of products for the motorcycle touring and adventure-touring markets through its RPW Motorcycle Accessories division. Those offerings include the popular Marsee Products™ line and the Helen Twowheels Super Packing System™.
