TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – June 14, 2011: Most small cars offer safety or comfort, great styling or practicality, good fuel efficiency or plenty of get-up-and-go.

Honda’s Jazz offers all this and more and is versatile enough to take you from the mountains to the seaside.

The small car with a big personality, the Honda Jazz is the perfect combination of practicality, great styling, five-star safety, a spacious interior and great fuel efficiency with Honda’s i-VTEC technology.

Honda Australia’s General Manager Sales and Marketing, Mr. Stephen Collins, said; “The new Honda Jazz’s proposition of style meets versatile, offers freedom and mobility to suit your lifestyle. From tackling mountains, to trips to the coast, the Honda Jazz offers a fun driving experience.

“The best part is Honda’s promise to deliver more from less. You can fill the Jazz VTi auto for less than $60* and travel over 600 kilometres, helping to save money at the bowser,” Mr. Collins said.

Jazz comes with a choice of two engines – a 1.3 litre or 1.5 litre. Outside, the new Jazz boasts sportier styling with redesigned LED tail lights and a sporty, mesh-style grille. The 1.5 litre VTi receives cruise control, revised 15 inch alloy wheels and a full size alloy spare. The VTi and VTi-S share new sporty bumpers, side skirts, fog lamps and a gunmetal grey grille. The VTi-S gains a tailgate spoiler and newly designed 16 inch alloy wheels.

Inside, Jazz has a new look satin finish centre dash panel for the audio and heating/cooling system controls, as well as a Multi-Information Display giving fuel consumption, time travelled, trip meters and more. It has a security alarm and tilt and telescopic steering. Jazz also has USB connectivity and A-pillar mounted Bluetooth – all these features are standard.

Jazz boasts a five-star ANCAP safety rating, with six airbags (front, side and full length curtain airbags), front and rear seatbelt reminder, ABS with Brake Assist and stability control (we call it Vehicle Stability Assist or VSA).

Honda’s all new Jazz is a clever choice for small car buyers, offering the freedom to suit every lifestyle and Honda’s promise of engineering excellence and worry-free motoring.

*Figure based on Jazz VTi auto fuel consumption of 6.7l/100km (combined) using unleaded fuel at a cost of $1.35 per litre (the full capacity of Jazz’s tank is 42 litres).
