BEAULIEU, UNITED KINGDOM – June 10, 2011: Throughout August 2011, the National Motor Museum will be holding a series of fun, creative Summer activities for families visiting the Beaulieu attraction. Inspired by the museum’s latest exhibition ‘Feats of Endurance’, which showcases vehicles that have stretched the boundaries of motoring endurance, these ‘drop-in’ workshops add an extra dimension to the visitor experience.

This exciting motoring themed programme includes the art of badge-making, games, drawing and creative writing. You can even test your creative skills in a special Car Construction Challenge with SciHi. Rise to the challenge, and recreate some of the toughest vehicles from the ‘Feats of Endurance’ exhibition using only Meccano bricks.

Come along and find out more about the wonderful Collections housed at Beaulieu while you enjoy creating your own artwork and vehicles. Check out the World of Top Gear, with genuine vehicles from the popular BBC motoring show, and enter the James Bond Experience to be ‘shaken, not stirred’ by actual vehicles and memorabilia that have starred in the Bond films over the years.

These fantastic drop-in sessions, which do not require booking, will be held in the museum between 12pm and 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1st until 25th August. The activities are included in the price of an entrance ticket to the Beaulieu attraction, which features the National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, the James Bond Experience, Palace House and gardens, the Secret Army Exhibition and 13th Century Beaulieu Abbey.
