Two International Telematics Update Awards Go to Airbiquity

DETROIT--June 9, 2011: Airbiquity , a global leader in connected vehicle services, received two International Telematics Update Awards at Telematics Update Detroit 2011, including the Telematics Leadership Award and the Best Telematics Service & Applications for Commercial Vehicles Award. The awards were given out at an exclusive awards dinner during the 11th annual Telematics Detroit Conference and Exhibition, June 7-9, 2011, in Novi, Michigan.

In the Best Telematics Service & Applications for Commercial Vehicles Award category, Airbiquity won for providing connected vehicle solutions to enable fleet and transportation solutions that reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions, as well as improve efficiencies, helping the commercial vehicle industry improve their bottom line.

In addition, the company’s CEO, Kamyar Moinzadeh, received the Telematics Leadership Award, which recognizes leaders who are driving the industry forward and are helping to promote new initiatives and awareness of telematics to both industry peers and the customer.
