RESTON, VA--June 8, 2011: ZoomSafer, the leading provider of risk management software to prevent distracted driving, and Ovation Wireless Management, provider of enterprise mobile device management solutions, today announced a new partnership offering corporations innovative technology solutions for measuring and managing employee use of mobile phones while driving, reducing risk, liability and expense.

“Now, with the new partnership, we can spread the information about ZoomSafer’s products so that everyone becomes more aware of tools like these to reduce distracted driving.”

The partnership uniquely integrates ZoomSafer’s FleetSafer® policy management solutions with Ovation's mobile device management software to enable companies to monitor employee compliance with mobile phone use policies. ZoomSafer offers two enterprise software services for enforcing cell phone use policies:

  • FleetSafer Vision, a cloud-based analytics service that integrates driver trip data (logs, location, speed, miles, etc.) with mobile device usage data (phone calls, text messages, etc.) and other information (email logs, weather, traffic, etc.) so fleet operators can measure and remediate risky driver behavior and reinforce good behavior.
  • FleetSafer Mobile, patented smartphone software that automatically prevents texting, emailing and browsing while driving so fleet operators can proactively enforce mobile phone use policies.

“As a leading-edge provider of total mobile device management solutions, Ovation Wireless Management is uniquely equipped to offer FleetSafer products to business drivers across a wide range of industries,” said Matt Howard, CEO of ZoomSafer. “Together, ZoomSafer and Ovation give companies a simple way to reduce the risks and liability associated with employee use phones while driving.”

“ZoomSafer provides incredible solutions that address the emerging safety needs of mobile device users and helps protect all of us from an unfortunate event,” says Randall Light, CEO of Ovation. “Now, with the new partnership, we can spread the information about ZoomSafer’s products so that everyone becomes more aware of tools like these to reduce distracted driving.”
