Bill Ford Speaks at JVS Strictly Business Luncheon

June 6, 2011: Bill Ford, Jr. , executive chairman, Ford Motor Company, will give the keynote speech at JVS's 14th annual Strictly Business Networking and Awards Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dearborn. During his keynote remarks, Ford will give answers to the questions he is most commonly asked and discuss topics ranging from "going green" to the global economic crisis. More than 700 business and community leaders are expected to attend the event, which is being presented by Compuware Corporation.

During the luncheon, Broner Glove and Safety will receive the 2011 Business Leadership Award for its outstanding commitment and contributions to metropolitan Detroit. Employee of the Year Awards will be presented to Detroit residents Billy Prince and Denise Dotson, Matthew Wagner of Berkley and Nita Cohen of Birmingham.

JVS is a nonprofit human service organization that annually serves more than 20,000 people from four locations in metro Detroit. The agency is a leading provider of career development, employment, vocational rehabilitation, senior adult, youth and financial literacy services.
